Want to be able to communicate across various platforms i.e. you use word and your customer uses star office, Then convert your files to pdf and even MAC users can read hem.
 If you have large documents that you want to e mail out or will not fit on floppy disc , then why not have them turned into a pdf file. When converted they are of a minimal size allowing easy e- mailing i.e. Technical Data Sheets, Photos, Presentations.
They are also easily viewed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader which is commonly installed on most computers or available as a free download from the internet at www.adobe.co.uk . This also means that you do not have to rely on the end user having the correct version of the software to open and read the documents.
